Cable Clip for Modular Mounting System - Customizable
Description
This is a cable clip that is compatible with the [Modular Mounting System Arms](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4861050) ([thing:4861050](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4861050) by me and [thing:3689842](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3689842) by jtronics). There are STL and STEP files available for cable sizes ranging between 2mm and 9mm in 0.5mm increments. You can also [customize this part in Onshape](https://cad.onshape.com/documents/b951b444bc0cfb8ab4119a8d/w/60f8227d88c6f2763bf98359/e/944dfa554eadb2529af6b276). Edit the configuration parameters in the upper left to your specific requirements. Then right-click on the part in the lower left and select "export". ### Installation Insert the hook between the 2 beams of the arm and rotate it 90 degrees. It's intentionally a very tight fit so that it stays in place. Use a pair of needle nose pliers if you have them available. Clip the cable into the hook. The opening measures 80% of the cable diameter which is small enough so that the cable doesn't come loose and large enough so that it's easy to insert the cable. ### Printing Use 2 or 3 perimeters and about 20% infill. No supports required.
