Zombicide Wall System (deprecated)
Description
This is deprecated. Check out version 2 (V2) at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4866171 40mm tall walls with bases. Optional clips to connect them. Doors consist of an optional head door jamb and a door with a base. The 60mm head jamb is more stable, but may not work in all buildings, so there is a 45mm version. These walls are compatible with V2 and you can mix and match. I recommend using the V2 clips for increased stability, Some of the problems with V1, and why you should prefer V2 :-) + Walls are thicker at the end (may be an issue with the way I print) and clips are not fitting well. Designing new clips that handle this. The new ones are bigger, but a lot more stable. + Doors will go from 25mm to 28mm, with a gap of 30mm, which supports the 5mm increment of every other piece. + 100mm long walls with a door in the middle are frequent. Experimenting with a single piece for that, instead of two walls and a door jamb. This will need supports. + Clips printed without raft are sometimes thin on the top. Need to figure out why (I think my bed is not calibrated well). If that happens to you, consider printing them with a raft. + Re-doing the barred windows and other decorations so they don't generate errors in FlashPrint. If FlashPrint complains, choose _ignore_ and you should be fine + Long walls with gaps in the bases to allow t-intersections + Also doing some custom pieces for specific tiles. They will work elsewhere, too, though ### Sources This is a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4677898 Those walls are lower, and the bases are printed separately, and then need to be glued. Some of the textures come from various Tinkercad things. All edits were made in (free) Tinkercard. If you want to change anything (e.g. the height) just upload the STL into Tinkercad and have fun designing.
