Trailer 7 Pin Connector Relocation Bracket
Description
I added a hitch mounted spare tire carrier on our Class A motorhome. This moves the trailer receiver about 18" further back. Consequently, when I tow the Jeep, the trailer light cable is now too short. I could modify that cable, but will have the same issue with the utility trailer, or anything else I tow with the motorhome. I 3D printed a new housing for the 7 pin extender cable. It has been set back a little, to allow the spare tire to pivot without hitting the connector. The cable I ordered could have been used as is, but I cut off the non-molded end, shortened the cable, and re-terminated the wires. It's now a perfect fit. I've included the Fusion 360 file if anyone wants to modify it.
