(remix) Rubber Band Gun
Description
This is a remix from these things: - original thing is [here](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:217067) - some parts I took from another remix [here](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4625882) ### What is mine Printable **tee spacer** instead a metal one. I have no idea where to get such tee nut, as it proposed by author. Remade **mount holes in the filler**. There were square holes, which is weird :) and holds weakly. I made a round holes 3.15mm (including tolerance 0.15mm). Use a drill bit 3mm if you need it. **Extendable barrel**. The most interesting part. Author didn't say how much his rubber bands can stretch. And it is difficult in my country to find exactly these rubber rings (Alliance Rubber 54325 Advantage Rubber Bands Size #32). So, I made a few experiments with the rings that I have. And now you have an ability to extend the barrel for the rubber bands that stretch well between 280 and 360 mm. **Front grip** is just an option for more fun :) ### Printing disclaimer You must have a well calibrated printer including correct flow setting for the filament which you suppose to use. The printing tolerance - **0.15mm**. If you're not sure or didn't understand what I'm talking about - don't waste the time to make this thing. Or don't blame me after all that _your_ printed parts don't fit together. ### Assembling For assembling the toy you'll need: - self-tapping screws 4.2x13 - 8 qty - long bolts M5 (36mm) - 2 qty - nut M5 with nylon ring - 2 qty - one bolt M5 with hex head, length 18-19mm. - one nut M5 (without nylon). Put it inside the rail. - one space ID 5mm, if you wouldn't use the front grip. Well, the assembly is quite simple. Don't forget to remove sacrificial layers (see on the images). For the front part use the bolt with length 18-19mm. When you'll want to change the barrel length you don't need to unscrew the bolt totally, 3mm will be enough. Then shake out the stopper spacer, move the front part and screw the bolt back. Note: you can use the same bolt for the front part with a grip or without it. ### Sources [Onshape](https://cad.onshape.com/documents/237bd35927b0ce56890884f8/w/fd11a29095762ca727f76d2d/e/86b764df0478f33c8a30d054) ### Video demo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JH8a_AuChwY
