3U rack; shield for Raspberry Pi 3 and 4 series + OLED 128x64
Description
These are the shields for the Raspberry Pi 3 and 4 series. It is part of a project in which I mounted Raspberry Pi's a USB hard-drive and a 5-port switch in a 3U Europac case. These creations are a mix from the original design by SlideBOR in his creation https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3022136. Since I have some 3U cases I wanted to have shields for it like SlideBOR made. Unfortunately it contained only the STL files. My design is one with a 128x64 pixels OLED screen, the design by SlideBOR is one with 128x32 pixels. I could add additional info, so I had to (re)design something myself in 'infoscreen.py'. I like every aspect of a project, including any programming. So, since the python file didn't really gave me a challenge I went for the shields in SCAD. Everything is here, including the SCAD file, so everyone can change whatever is needed. I am not going to use a switch to halt a Pi for instance. I'm basically using CLI so I go for a proper 'sudo poweroff' over a SSH connection... If you want to have it... you're going to have to add it. For the details on how to connect the LED, the OLED and the switch(es) I suggest you follow the link to the Thingi from SlideBOR. Again, it started with the design from Kapozok (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1793758) and SliderBOR https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3022136. There is one shield left in this project, the HD shield. It will be available soon, also in SCAD format.
