Hero Yourself Sovol SV01/SV03 Dual Blower Part Cooler Fan Part Cooler Shroud Duct

Description

#Hero Yourself I wanted to use the Hero Me fan shroud for my Sovol SV01, but since it is direct drive and none of the options fit, I was led to believe I should just hero myself. So I did! And I invite you to hero yourself, too. This design also works for the SV03 since they have the same mounting plate and hardware. This is a dual blower fan part cooler for the Sovol SV01/SV03. I have models to accommodate 4020 and 5015 sized blower fans. The heatsink fan is a 40mm fan. The design is based upon the Hero Me, which is a much celebrated design, so I see no reason why the Creality people should hog all the glory. A version of the part cooler that supports BLTouch has been added to the files. It relocates the BL Touch sensor to the other side of the print head, which should make it easier to access and I don't believe will impact any functionality. Please let me know if I am mistaken. I no longer use this sensor myself, preferring the standard z stop sensor. There is an included spacer file to lower the BL touch sensor to your satisfaction. The spacer is 1mm thick. Either print multiple as needed, or scale the file on the Z axis to make it as thick as you need it to be. UPDATES: I have switched my setup to use the all-metal Phaetus Dragonfly hotend, and have added 5015 designs specifically for that hotend. The ones marked "higher" have the part cooler ducts 1mm higher up, because I found that the original placement was very nearly touching the print and was making me nervous. Maybe it's ideal? You decide. The "Dragonfly" design has been tested using the E3D V6 hotend as well, and it reportedly works great! Use the version not marked "higher" for that hotend. ### Printing Details To print this, look at the Cura pics I have attached. Print it with the fan ducts upward, using supports. You will need to place support blockers at the blower openings unless you like digging them out of tight spaces. It should print fine without those supports. I have been printing at 20% infill to save weight. It's rather bulky, with two fans, so the more weight savings the better probably.
