College Bunk Bed Footstool

College Bunk Bed Footstool

Description

I designed this since I was tired of having to climb up my Georgia Tech dorm bunk bed with really thin slats as makeshift ladder rungs. It hurt my feet, so I made this footstool. I tested it with Solidworks FEA with PLA and it'll be fine with a factor of safety of about 10. This should also work with other bunk beds in other universities as well; I used to go to Stony Brook University and they used the same bunk beds! Printing: Designed with a factor of safety of 10 (accounting for an FDM printed part as opposed to solid PLA) using generic PLA, so ABS, PETG to be perfectly fine. TPU probably with a factor of 5 though. 210 degrees C for extruder temp, and 60 degrees C for the bed temp. No supports, print it on its largest face. Please use 5 walls and 20% gyroid infill. Will print in about 9-10 hours on an Ender 3. 0.4 nozzle, 0.2 layer height, but it really won't matter for these two.
