Simplified & Enhanced Air Scrubber for 3M Filter such as for MakerBot Replicator 2X
Description
Just print it and bolt it together and attach a power supply to the fan--there aren't any confusing model names nor a required rubber band gasket or this or that part--there are just 2 sections: inlet and exhaust, and they fit the non-printed parts as-is. The feet can be printed separately in case you have a flexible material (otherwise, ignore the alternate files). The exhaust is designed for the rear left corner hole of the MakerBot Replicator 2X, but you can use it as a side vent if you put the feet in a different direction when attaching the inlet to the fan. You just need to buy the non-printed parts, and increase the support overhang angle 60 to avoid unecessary supports (See print settings for recommended supported & potentially airtight settings). The exhaust hole (the small one remaining when using the exhaust cap) is specifically designed for the MakerBot Replicator 2X (and possibly clones such as the FlashForge Creator Pro) that have enclosures but have holes in the bottom inner corners. See post-printing instructions. In case you are curious, the 3D printer mod in the photo is being documented at [github.com/poikilos/r2x_14t](https://github.com/poikilos/r2x_14t). The upstream author dhoff002 made this Non-Commercial so I'm forced to add that clause unless I redesign that small part of the assembly. I commented on his: "You seem to be adding an NC clause for an unknown reason since you're not making money from it and it isn't fan art. Please provide a valid reason why it is NC or remove the NC clause so as not to hinder innovation (business innovation counts too)." Take note of whether the plastic cracks, and add superglue before and after inserting then sand flat if necessary.
