Front skid plate for Talon Pro or Mini Talon V2
Description
Inspired by Herman Harmers' nose bumper for the Talon Pro, I present to you this front skid for the Talon Pro. It runs through the section of the belly that could touch the ground. The front skid will provide unwanted dents or scathes on the from hitting rough stones, that even layers of laminating film could not prevent such damage. This would give the belly additional clearance from the ground. The skid weighs at about 8g only! Print as is with its side lying on the heat bed. Supports are not necessary, but would help in those printers that have issues in sticking prints on the bed surface. Installation instructions: Apply foam-safe glue on the skid and mount it on the belly. Secure the skid with tape while waiting for the glue to bond completely.
