Hydrogen Beaker Lid and Connector

Hydrogen Beaker Lid and Connector

Description

Designed to collect and direct hydrogen around electrodes during electrolysis when using a beaker. The lid was designed for a 150mL beaker and a silicone tube with a 2mm inner radius and 2mm outer radius. I've included the fusion360 files in addition to the STL files in case you need to alter anything, from the radius of the beaker cap to the size of the electrode holes. **Printing:** Anything works. Supports likely aren't needed, though they can be easily removed if necessary. Be prepared to sand down any parts in case it's too tight a fit. **Usage:** To keep electrodes steady and connected to the cap, I recommend wrapping a rubber band around the electrodes. It's likely that the cap will not fit perfectly into a beaker, so some flexible seal may need to be used, especially in situations where relatively large amounts of hydrogen are being generated. Make sure to also seal the space around the electrodes before electrolysis to minimize hydrogen leakage.
