Geeetech A10M (and other Ender 3 clones) X-axis cover with customizable endstop position
Description
This is an X-axis cover for Geetech A10M (may work for other models) with customizable end stop position. I made this to be able to use a purge bucket mounted in the negative X area. You can find pre-made models with endstop placed 10mm and 14mm to the left of factory endstop. Also, there is one that matches factory X cover, in case someone needs it. You can use the customizer provided by Thingiverse or download the scad and optionally json file, which contains a few presets, and customize in OpenSCAD. I reworked this recently to allow easier customization while adding "lite" version. You'll need one if you're trying to place the endstop too far to the left, so the X-carriage bumps into the cover. I just replaced factory X- carriage with one from Ender-3 and I had to move the endstop all the way to -14mm position. I couldn't go any farther than this, because in this position the left roller is right at the edge of the extrusion profile, but you can customize it to any position within the cover. To be able to properly use this, you'll need to update the following value in Configuration.h for Marlin firmware: `#define X_MIN_POS -12` Your value may be different, just subtract the value corresponding to your chosen model from factory value, recompile and flash new firmware to your printer. It may also be possible to change this value without having to recompile from source (either through gcode or whatnot), but I always simply change it in Configuration.h and recompile because it's easier. As I mentioned above, this may work with other Ender 3 clones, and probably others that use the same approach for X-axis endstop mounting. However, I have no way to verify this, so would appreciate any comments about compatibility with other models.
