Wire Rack Hanging GPU Mount for Crypto Mining
Description
I needed a better way to manage my cards for some hobby mining. I had a wire shelf with a printer on top and decided this was the easiest option. You may need to modify for your specific wire rack!! Modeled in Onshape, I did this fast and dirty so changing a dimension may (probably) will blow it up so double check :P You can find the model in OnShape just search - Wire Rack Hanging GPU Mount for Crypto Mining My wire rack's dimensions - Wire = 2.5mm Spacing = 28.25mm & 27.25mm alternating To check fit, print the first few layers, cancel the print and test. Wire diameter is important to get that *snap* when clipping it on to the shelf. This works for gpus that require 2 slots. The total bracket width is more than the card itself, biased towards the fans. This allows for consistent gap between the cards for so i could be confident in airflow. There is a hole on one side for melting in a threaded bushing. The bushing I chose is from menards sku: 2029089 6-32 Hex drive for wood inserts. Put it on your allen wrench, small amount heat with a lighter and twist it in. Then hold it still until cool. I did 30% infill, which is probably overkill and I like my walls to be 3 layers. Since there is an insert at LEAST make the hole higher density. Cards are hard to come by, don't be stingy here. Eth THANKS: 0x08C1C22e25D80d81eA7093a82c89cDEe3BAb50F5
