Micro Swiss DD Adapter for Ender 3 Max
Description
So I upgraded to the Micro Swiss Direct Drive Extruder, and then ran into a problem. My fan housing didn't fit. So I had to solve that problem, how? By painstakingly through trial and error, create an adapter. It works, however I will leave it open for refinement if anyone comes across any issues. The two holes on the left side line up with the mount holes for a CR-10 or Ender 3/Ender 3 Pro, Any other printer, fan housing. The two holes on the support bar are for the Ender 3 Max fan housing assembly, those two holes have spots in the back to place an M3 Nut to retain the fan housing and prevent it from slipping. You can recycle many of your screws from the original mount, but you may require an M3 screw for the countersunk hole. Also it is going to be a little off center. The extruder tension spring arm prevents the mount from being perfectly center with the nozzle.
