NanoLeaf Hex Light

NanoLeaf Hex Light

Description

Refused to pay for nanoleafs so I designed some of my own and used the LED strips I had laying around already Printing: Printed on an ender 3 v2, 0.4mm nozzle with PLA I used the automatic settings in Cura, but because its slightly too big for my printer I had to rotate it and scale down from 100% to 99%, just do it on both parts and it will squeeze together for a tight fit. Infill was set to 20% not that there is much to fill in in the first place Post printing: Superglue pieces together, leaving the gaps on the sides left open for running LED strips, make sure your diffusers are pushed gently into your cases BEFORE running LED strips. Brand and controller don't really matter just don't cheap out you will regret it when you are replacing the strip once a month. I have my controller synced up to an alexa for voice activation of the lights. Designed this myself on fusion 360, yes it is similar to a few things on this site but I wanted to go as big as possible with a custom look to the front of the panels, so I started from scratch. Hope you all enjoy!
