Maker Ultimate or Duplicator 6 X axis End-stop Pusher
Description
**** If you make it and it works, please click like :) **** When I received my Monoprice Maker Ultimate, I found that the post that pushes on the X axis end-stop was missing. As you can imagine, I was distraught. I did of course attempt to replace the original screw with a proper part but the clearance inside the unit is so small, it is impossible to put the right size screw in unless you completely disassemble the carriage. But I did not panic. I rolled out my trusty Ender 3, fired up Tinkercad and made this monstrosity. As odd as it looks, it works well. I printed mine in PLA with 100% infill. I recommend 100% regardless of the material. You need only print this, find a long zip tie (or in my case two small ones) and snug it up real tight. I did place a hole big enough for a zip tie to go through the center of the object. Luckily I haven't had to do the same with my Y axis yet. So, assuming I haven't jinxed myself, I am good to go!
