variable power supply DPS5005 for makita LXT tool battery / USB-C / barrel plug
Description
DPS5005 enclosure and circuit. Power in can be: - USB-C power delivery up to 20V - Common DC Barrel jack plug up to 50V - Makita LXT 18V tool battery Variable output goes to: - Banana style connectors - Clamp terminals for quick connections Additionally outputs a stable 5V on 2 USB plugs A switch prevent a connection between the tool battery and other voltage sources. The USB-C and Barrel plug are not separated so connecting those at the same time might damage your power supplies. The USB-C decoy module requires a reverse voltage protection. Search for something like 'Type-C PDC004-PD Pd Decoy Module PD2.0' for the USB-C power module, and for 'WP6 audio terminal' to find the clamp terminal block. The other components should be easier to find. Took some inspiration from https://hackaday.io/project/18546-portable-laboratory-power-supply
