NEJE 30watt Air assist nose

Description

Air assist nossle for NEJE 30watt laser module. (See remake by @gerhardbooysen for the NEJE 40watt module here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4892305 ) After testing different solutions for air assist for my NEJE laser module, I found that the nossle system on my CO2 laser was the best solution. I designed this to keep the flow not leaking up and disturb the fan that sits on top of the laser module. This is done by keeping it direct sealing against the lens of the module. It is mounted instead of the "Red glass" on the module and uses the original screws. This make the lens "static" to one position and you need to focus by changing the hight of the laser module towards the material. This will blow direct above the laser point and keep the work area clean as well as the lens. Before this Air assist my cutting parameters where: - Birch Plywood 3,6mm = F150 S100% 3-4 passes. After fitting this Air assist using 2 bar pressure, my parameters changed to: - Birch Plywood 3,6mm = F250 S100% 2 passes. I can also see a huge difference when engraving and cutting in other materials. Paper is now clean without any sot or burnt areas. Image quality when engraving is much better. I printed this with the quickest settings on my Ender 3 V2 because it was a "prototype" but I have been using it for several weeks now and it works perfect and I dont mind having some printing "lines" on it :) I used support material when printing.
