Silly's Improved Rambase (with 17/32 brass version)

Silly's Improved Rambase (with 17/32 brass version)

Description

WARNING: THIS DESIGN REQUIRES SLIGHT TRIMMING OF THE PRIMING BARS TO EQUAL LENGTHS. Slug's hardware kits don't have a measured edge from the Rambase hole to the end of the bar, since that usually doesn't matter with a normal Rambase. The priming bars should be trimmed until they fit snug along the bottom edge of the Rambase cutouts when screwed in. Trimming can be done with a file, tin-snips, whatever. A clean cut is nicer looking, but not mechanically needed. WARNING OVER This is my version of an improved Rambase for the Caliburn family of blasters. This Rambase is modified from the Caliburn's Rambase. List of changes: - Tighter fit around the Ramrod, so it is a very tight press fit. Use a clamp or vice to put it on, and remove it by cutting off the print, destroying it. (The tight fit means you don't need screws for the Ramrod, leaving a second set of priming bar slots if you have screws sear off in the first set. Just turn over the rambase and use the other slots. Saves your bacon if your screws shear during a game.) - Tighter fit around the priming bars, making them much more sturdy/stable. (requires slight trimming due to hardware irregularities. This change takes a lot of force off of the screws that hold in the priming bars, causing screw-shear to be less common with high spring loads) - Slightly different air forcing cone. - Space for 2 o-rings without stretching them. Edit 6-14-21: fixed sizing issue from Fusion export, thanks Fusion. Edit 6-15-21: made o-ring space slightly tighter, but probably not a noticeable amount. Also added a version of the rambase for 17/32 brass. If you wish to print and sell this item, please contact me for licensing.
