RAD Power eBike 48V Battery Connector
Description
eBikes are great! The Li-on batteries are powerful, but expensive. In our climate we don't use our ebikes in the winter. We also like to go camping. You can buy expensive “Power stations” or “solar generators”, but they are also very expensive. Wouldn't it be great if you could use your eBike battery to run an inverter or DC-DC 12V converter when you are camping or the power goes out. My wife has a RAD Power Radcity Step-Thru 3 eBIke. It has a 48V, 672Wh battery. I designed this connector so you could hook the battery up to an inverter or DC-DC converter. You can also hook up solar panels to charge it (up to 120W). For the parts I used, check https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/70263-rad-power-ebike-battery-adapter I stopped putting them on Thingiverse after they started mucking with all my links so they could make money off them :-(
