Surface Book 2 Coolpack (13.5 inch)
Description
Unfortunately, when I use my Surface Book 2 13.5-inch at my desk to play games, it gets very warm. This is due to the passive cooling of the tablet unit. To lower the temperature at least a bit and to protect the batteries from heat, I designed this snap on fan. To compensate for tolerances, I made the lateral legs flexible. There is a version with extra nose for easier grip. The model takes into account a protective film on the back of the tablet. See photo. The feet need to be printed lying on their side so the little nose is worked out cleanly. The base should fit most standard fans. I have a Noctua NF-A12x15 FLX installed. The 5V USB voltage is just enough for ultra quiet operation. However, sometimes the fan does not start on its own. The model of the Surface Book 2 is from Paul Thelu. https://grabcad.com/library/microsoft-surface-book-2-1 The model of the fan is from Martin Csanaki. https://grabcad.com/library/noctua-nf-a12-15-1
