Basic Pulley (2x 608 bearing, 2x M4x30mm, 12mm rope)

Basic Pulley (2x 608 bearing, 2x M4x30mm, 12mm rope)

Description

DO NOT USE FOR LIFTING PEOPLE OR ANYTHING THAT COULD CAUSE INJURY. Print 2x stator and 1x rotor per pulley. Very easy to print except the overhang on the pulley, probably best to print the pulley a little slower. The fins are there to help the overhang. Printed in PLA+ at 0.25mm layer height, 30% infill but any settings really will work. The pieces screw together with 2 M4x30mm bolts, with 2 608 skate bearings. The way its designed only the large flats on the stators really take any force and the large area there means the part is very strong. If the rotor part curls on the top, flatten it off a little with a plane or some sand paper. Cut out the fins in the rotor with a pair of side cutters, they can help grip the rope but you could sand them down. I've tested putting around 60kg on it and bouncing a little and it didn't make any noises or anything. I'm using it in a free weights setup, probably up to about 40kg. I'd guess it might take more than 100kg statically. Because of the design it isn't hugely reliant on layer adhesion but definitely this is used at your own risk. Its designed to take up to 12mm rope. Be careful if any parts are rubbing because it will wear through the plastic very quickly - this happened on the first iteration when the rotor curled at the top and was rubbing one of the plates, nearly went all the way through after about 10 mins of use.
