HVAC Capacitor Mount (50mm Diameter)
Description
After realizing my HVAC capacitor had died, I discovered it was simply sitting on a shelf inside the unit, not mounted in anyway. This attempts to provide a mount, specifically for a 50mm (roughly 2") capacitor. I originally designed the product with the use of the supplied attachment. There are mounting position for items where the rest of the electronics are in the HVAC. You can choose to use the attachments I have provided to slip into those positions. Alternatively you can use screws in the provided holes. Be careful when drilling. Print it with at least 20% infill to allow it to remain strong in the heat outside. The optional slip attachment should have a lot of cooling because of how small they are. They print so quickly that the part doesn't have time to properly cool down while printing the next layer, making them squishy. Use cooling fan at 100% for the attachments. I didn't note the size of the nut and bolt when I purchased it. Visit a hardware store and find one that fits. I did build this from the ground up in Tinkercad, but I was using ideas from other HVAC capacitor holders uploaded here. For some reason I am not able to add this as a remix it.
