"Boxi" Mount (V6 + BMG AIO Mount)

"Boxi" Mount (V6 + BMG AIO Mount)

Description

After looking and trying other mounts, I ended up making my own design as I wanted my 8mm inductive probe as close to the nozzle as I could get it. I wasn't able to find something already made that I was happy with, and I think it turned out pretty good. The probe is currently 26mm offset on the X axis, but in line with the nozzle on the Y axis. On my Ender 3 Pro, this should mean I'm able to probe a large portion of my bed, due to the layout of the printer. (Now to just tweak it for ages in the firmware :P) It should be fairly easy to print and put together, I designed both parts to require minimal supports, I've also made a step-by-step tutorial as such with images to assist in assembly. The part cooling duct is pretty tricky to get a nice result, as it requires a lot of supports regardless of how it's oriented. (I did NOT make this part, full credit goes to mediaman, creator of the "Hero Me" mounts. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4460970) I might re-work how this shroud is mounted, possibly in a way that makes it easier to print with minimal supports and overhangs too. The 3D models of hardware, such as the fans, Ender 3 carriage, V6 assembly and BMG have been sourced from various places on the internet, to use as reference. So far it's working really well for me, and it's surprisingly sturdy, considering how far away from the carriage the entire hotend is mounted. I've put a fair amount of time and effort into making this, as I've not only made it for myself, but also hopefully in a way that someone else might find it useful :)
