Superglue EZ Squeezer Harbor Freight (Updated 8/4/2021)

Description

Designed to be refillable with the super glue gel tubes from harbor freight. I found the best print orientation to be as pictured above. Lay the squeezer on its side and sink it into the build plate 9mm (Thickness is 18mm) then glue the halves together. The tubes seem to leak a lot of glue when the initial seal is broken. To reduce the leakage, I found that assembling it all together with the nozzle still attached, I use a very thin wire to go through the nozzle opening and push it in until it breaks the seal. It seemed to help keep most of the glue from exlpoding out. UPDATE (8/4/2021) Clips added on the inside for a tighter fit. Depending on your printer, the clips may need to be filed slightly so they aren't too tight. The squeezer is now attached to the bottom with a dovetail. An arrow shows which end to slide it in. Slide it until it hits the stop. The squeezer dovetail will most likely need to be shaved with a knife until it can slide in. I slide one half of the squeezer in, add glue, then slide the other half in. Added a diamond cutout to see the inside (and to look cool). A version without the diamond is also included. Gaps on each side of the bottom were created to give a screwdriver a place to pop the bottom off. Tweaked misc. geometries of the squeezer.
