Gotway MCM5 Bearing water protection cover
Description
I received a free Gotway MCM5 v2 from a friend who dropped it down a mountain into a river a month ago. After taking apart, I am astonished on the amount of water that got into the motor and rusted it, but also locked the bearings. This is my attempt to design a cover to keep the WD40 marine grade water resistant grease on MCM5 bearings. You have to disassemble the wheel and pedal holders to get to the bearing on MCM5, so you can add this if you are doing planned maintenance on your MCM5. UPDATE: Lower Profile versions added to touch the rim & bearings.
