DJI Mini 2 Light Landing Extenders (& propeller blade holders)

DJI Mini 2 Light Landing Extenders (& propeller blade holders)

Description

Yet more DJI Mini/Mini 2 Landing Gear Extensions. These are light, about 5.5 g for all four. They add about an inch (25mm) to the height. I used PETg, but should be fine with other materials. I used .20mm layers. Could have used .15, but why waste the time? For the front pair, I used a brim setting in Prusa Slicer because there is not much touching the bed. Clean out the fronts carefully because the fit rather tightly. Press them on with some pressure and remove by HOLDING THE ARM and using a fingernail to slide the tip off the arm. At first you should put them on and take them off until the loosen up a bit. Note that they only go on one way matching the curvature of the front arms. The rear extension do not need any brim, unless you have trouble with adhesion to the bed. When installing the rears, place them on the arm beam near the motor, and slide them inboard until they tighten up a bit. (on my Mini 2, the motor arms are slightly different dimensions) I have added some pictures of how I restrain my propeller blades. I cut a 3" piece of 3/4" wide double sided hook and loop fastener in half (because the whole width is too strong). Then arrange the blades, and slide the strip under the blades and fold over the top. They emulate the restraint of the tape holding the blades when you first got your drone, and fit fitted cases without any interference problems.
