Toys for boys/ships/ handy size GC last hold+ engine room for modular cargo ship
Description
Toys for boys. Old boys use computers, small boys need other toys Well, seems that finally I found right way for coding aft sections of the ship where shape of hull change Here is result - last hold for GC(general cargo), box shaped (for explanations read GC midship section https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4914258) and ER (engine room) section. Last hold usually has flat bulkhead, often separated from ER by cofferdam. Sounding pipes in hold area are vulnarable for damage by discharging equipment and usually are protected by shields from thick steel bars. Why? Imagine, that You have full ballas tanks and suddenly bulldozer working in the hold cut ballast sounding pipe - water from ballast flood rest of cargo. On handy size carriers this hold has approx 6000m3. Say, 10% of cargo remains. Calculate costs. ER - boxes in forepart are ends of ballast mains- to be connected to ballast pumps(if any). Screw and rudder shafts have small recess for packing to prevent water flooding the space- I was thinking about silicone grease, but better consult RC boats forums- for sure they have some solutions. I leave space empty for motor, battery etc. Enjoy! it is made in not published version 5 of Template Shapes_Text https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4863092 (CSV code compression). Code of these sections with compression to CSV consist of 100 lines. With standard OpenScad commands probably 3x more. template code will be included in next database release
