Tomb Raider reboot Compound Bow - Jonah
Description
This is the bow given to Lara Croft by her friend Jonah when the meet up back at the dock and attempt to get the patrol boat working. This is Version 1 of this bow and was taken from the very limited reference material I could find at the time which was the screenshot taken when examining the weapons at a camp so it's accurate to that BUT it's not the same as the bow handed to Lara during gameplay (I found out later) so I'm working on a V2 which will more reflect that model. The pieces have alignment holes to ease assembly and I used 6mm dowel for this. The pulley is modified from another design and the grip and upper riser are also a modded design I found here (If I can re-find them I'll provide the link). I'm also adding the STEP file exported from Fusion360 so feel free to enhance! The sight is the same as I used on the competition bow model but I created a new mount for it to better match this bow. The lighter is a cheap Zippo knockoff from eBay at around £2.50 which I abused with a grinding wheel sanding sponge and acrylic paint. Bargain! Surface sanding was followed with filler (automotive knifing putty) a couple of coats of spray putty over that and then acrylics and weathering.
