Scarlet Hotend Duct for Ender 3 V2

Scarlet Hotend Duct for Ender 3 V2

Description

### This has been designed for the MICRO-SWISS HOTEND and may or may not work with stock Creality properly ### Summary Note: The model here is slightly modified from the unit I use on my printer, to fix some issues I had to fix manually on the physical one. Due to this, there may be some oddities, which will be addressed in future versions. This is a very much modified remix of JeffrayMK's dual 5015 Satsana fan duct, also involving some use of the original Satsana's parts. Should fit the Ender 3 V2 using two screws and the included clip, however this has been designed for the Micro-Swiss hotend and may or may not cool or fit a stock Creality one properly. This duct is modular, and can be assembled using only one part cooling duct if desired. It also features a mounting point on the bottom for hardware such as lights or a camera. A Mark 2 is currently being worked on to address some issues, and a blender file is included if you wish to modify it yourself. ### Assembly Assembly is similar to a regular Satsana for the core part, and uses the same two screws for mounting onto the printer. The 40mm front fan can be attached with the two stock screws, but the two 5015 blowers require two M4 screws or bolts each to attach. The M4 bolts/screws' threads should cut slightly into the core part, securing the fans and ducts in place properly. The clip included should be glued onto the back of the core piece in order to further secure it to the mounting plate on the right side as well. I recommend using epoxy or super glue for this. I would personally also recommend printing one of the various fan grilles on Thingiverse for the front fan. ### Fun Info * Why did I make this? Because I wanted to design my own duct for fun. * What was it made in? Blender. * Why "Scarlet"? One of my development versions' part cooling fangs reminded me of those of a vampire, and the first vampire that came to my mind was Remilia Scarlet (a Touhou character). * How long did it take to design? A week or two of occasional modeling. * Will there be versions for other fans/hotends/printers/etc.? Nobody knows. Maybe yes, maybe not.
