Goodman handle for heavy scuba diving video flashlight ARCHON D37VP
Description
Goodman handle (9 cm wide) fitting my bare hand (or wearing 2 mm gloves) to handle my heavy flashlight ARCHON D37VP. Lock is done by 2 screws on the sides, without tools. I added a double 2.5 mm neoprene layer around the plate to not hurt the back of my bare hand. The handle is also held by a 6 mm bungee around the wrist to compensate the heavy weight of the flashlight. This bungee can be fastly set up and removed with the other hand by jamming or unstacking knots. It is possible to add a leash at the back of the handle but I finally just use the one of the flashlight (phosphorescent paracord) . Needed: - 2 x 30 mm M5 screws with hexagonal head to lock the plate position (A4/316 grade stainless steel) - 2 x M5 nuts (A4/316 grade stainless steel) - 2.5 mm thick neoprene cut like on the last picture and sewed around the plate (or using gloves!) - 3 x 12 mm M3 screws (A4/316 grade stainless steel) to attach the flashlight to the plate - 3 x M3 (or M4) washers (A4/316 grade stainless steel) - 30 cm of 6 mm bungee
