<b>L-Mount with Knob</b> for Heavy Duty Planetary Astro Tracker This is a L-Mount with a 3/8" hole on the Tracker side and a 1/4" hole on the Ballhead side. You can also screw a 12mm counterweight shaft in the L-Mount. If you loosen the knob a little, you can align and balance your camera comfortably. if you want to use a counterweight, make a 12mm shaft with a 1/4" thread at one end. This thread then goes through the L-mount into the ball head. A suitable counterweight is available from Sky-Watcher. I printed the L-Mount with Princore Carbon PETG, and it is very stiff. <b>Update:</b> Much more stiffer is the <b>L-MountHD</b> (HeavyDuty) with the 12mm counterweight shaft. Happy printing!
