Adapter Blaupunkt BS 8720 to Dietz CX-87
Description
The old Blaupunkt BS 8720 speaker in the doors of my old camper van were brken, but I wanted to keep the origial styling and covers. I designed this adapter to install new Dietz CX-87 3,5" speakers in both doors. Maybe 3,5" speakers from other brands will also fit. The new speakers are positioned between the door board and the adaper and are both fixed with the original screws. Next the printed inserts will be placed in the adapter frame. You need to pause the print of the inserts at the correct hight to put in M4 nuts. I used pliers to removed the original speakers from thier cover. The cover than can be installed on the adaper frame using M4x12 countersunk screws. I used black ones. Printing: I used matt black PLA from Das Filament No supports needed M4 nuts need to be placed inside the inserts. Pause print on respective layer.
