Creality CR10 Platform - Dual Extrusion Upgrade

Creality CR10 Platform - Dual Extrusion Upgrade

Description

There is a severe lack of quality dual extrusion upgrades, mostly because dual extrusion is messy and gross. This is designed for the original CR10 platform from Creality. This does **not** cover the "Pro" series such as the CR10S Pro as this printer uses a different bolt pattern. This modification is mostly for the: Ender series (Ender 3, Ender 3 v2) CR10 series (CR10, CR10S, CR10S3 - CR10S5) The compatibility lies with your printer's hot end mounting bracket. If you are using the [original 3-pulley](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08SMCHFVC/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_9JMBKQSRWF3ZR96ESQNN?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) or the [upgraded 4-pulley](https://www.amazon.com/CCTREE-Printer-Upgrade-Extruder-Support/dp/B0823B9SP1/ref=pd_lpo_1?pd_rd_i=B0823B9SP1&psc=1) mounting bracket, then this will work. This is preferable on a larger printer as your X-axis footprint will be reduced. This system relies on a universal adapter plate bolted to the aluminum back plate. From here, there are two half-pieces that hold the cooling fans and heat sinks for the two extruders. Everything uses M3 bolts. The complete BOM is located below the Print Settings. The assembly is self-explanatory, but I have attached a mark-up with the bolt sizes used. **I will update this throughout the week as I make adjustments. If you are watching this Thing update as I finish it, I am uploading parts as I trial them to check fits and tolerances, feel free to print them and give me any feedback. Things are almost done, I just need to figure out Part Cooling and Assembly.**
