Arduino Gear Clock
Description
This is a gear clock using a 28BYJ-48 motor controlled by Arduino NANO. Since the operating voltage is 5V, you can use a USB connection or a mobile battery. Size: width 11cm, height 10cm, depth 5cm~10cm I was inspired by "Simple Super Gear Clock" by Tokyo_Bird.(Tokyo_Birdさん、ありがとうございます!) So, I made this as my practice. Also, I used Arduino Nano case by nspohrer. (Thank you, nspohrer!) ---------------------------- Updated 2021/8/14 (1) To keep the distance between BackFlame and SpurGear60t, spacer was added. (2) ArduinoGearClock.ino.txt was updated. (3) sat file was uploaded instead of stl file for over all models. ---------------------------- Uploaded 2021/8/13 Although the design need to be improved more, since it could run well, I uploaded this. You can see how it works in https://youtu.be/wDQAxyr8IB4 I used PLA for large gears and PTEG for small gears, flames and pipe stoppers. Four pipe stopper are required. The center hole of gears need to be drilled to make the rotation smooth or to pushed in the rod. Please be careful, SpurGear60t, each hands and hole of FrontFlame for SpurGear30-8teeth must be keep tight. Fro Nano case, only NANOCASE-top.stl was modified from NANOCASE-top-0.05.stl. So, please get the bottom file from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:959057. Although I am not sure, when you connect USB cable to NANO for the programming, it is better to disconnect 5V cable from pin27 of NANO before the connection. I programed step-second mode to keep the temperature of stepper motor low. (Please see ArduinoGearClock.ino.txt) The motor was tuned off during waiting, and the delay was adjusted to keep the time. The accuracy might be not so good, but the power consumption may be small.
