Kenmore Washer Series 700 Basket Drive Coupler Replacement Part I designed this part after my washing machine started experiencing problems with the impeller. The impeller would spin freely, leaving the large washing basket in one place. This caused my clothes to be wet and full of soap after the wash cycle was completed. I took the impeller off, and found that the coupler holding the wash basket to the drive shaft was worn off. The teeth on the inside were completely ground off, leaving no engagement to the drive shaft. I printed this part with the large outer teeth facing upwards, using PLA filament. I used supports to hold up the large overhang. I recommend using very precise, high quality print settings, and increasing the amount of perimiter walls. I used 50% infill, to increase strength, as it is a relatively high-tension part.
