The SpiderChair and Professor Hex
Description
There's been a bit of controversy about the inclusion of wheelchairs in newer D&d rules. Some folks callously pointed out that the wheelchair user can be defeated by stairs. So, I decided to create an alternative, the SpiderChair. It gives the player normal movement speed and agility and a limited wall climbing ability. The chairs must be fed regularly as they are living creatures, can create a web or silk if you like.. The specifics are up to the individual DM. In my game, the chairs are given freely to those deemed worthy. They are created by Professor Hex with the aid of Artix Maker, an artificer in his employ. (that mini is coming soon) Feel free to use the lore or invent your own! There is no reason why a person who uses a wheelchair in the real world should feel bad about using a chair in game. I work with people every day who do amazing things from the seat of a wheelchair and I just wanted to show my admiration in my odd little way. The Spider chair has a blanket covering where the legs would be, making it easy to add the top half of your favorite adventurer via software or physical means. As usual, comments and critiques are welcome.
