Hakko T12/T15 Sleeve Adapter for TS100 Soldering Iron
Description
When used with the Hakko 'anti-bacterial' sleeve, this adapter allows you to use Hakko T12/T15 soldering tips with your TS100. This works because the connector of the TS100 and T12 tips are the same. Why would you want this? I remixed this from Thingiverse user Snurkle who explains their reasoning: > Of course, your iron will be longer, but the upshot is that the Hakko tips can be had for cheaper, and the little rubber grip on the Hakko has a lot better feel than the body of the TS100. This print was designed to be printed tip-side touching the bed, with supports. See the Print Settings section below for the recommended slicer settings. The adapter should be secured to the TS100 using one or two M2 screws. There is clearance for the factory screws to fit under the adapter if you want to lock the soldering tip in place. If you want to be able to quick-change soldering tips, use an 6mm M2 screw on the top hole. This adapter is compatible with Hakko's anti-bacterial sleeve, which is required for this mod to work. The sleeve assembly is usually part of the FM-2027/FM-2028 soldering pen. However, the sleeve can be purchased separately. Here are the part numbers for the sleeves: B3216 - Yellow B3217 - Orange B3218 - Blue B3219 - Green B5259 - Pink You might also find these by searching for "hakko sleeve assembly" on your online merchant of choice.
