Polar Illuminator for Star Adventurer
Description
A fairly simple polar illuminator for the Skywatcher Star Adventurer star tracker, using the following as the starting point. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2592940 This fits with the dovetail in place and runs off a single CR2032 button battery. You will also need a 3mm Red LED and a 1K2 1/4W or 1/8W resistor (although you may play around with the resistor value to achieve a brightness level that fits your needs). A couple of small lengths of heat shrink were also used to prevent shorting the battery. Solder the resistor to the Anode(Long) leg of the LED and bend the remaining wires so that the other leg of the LED sits just off the -VE face of the battery.
