Artillery Sidewinder Extruder Cover with Runout Sensor Mount
Description
I dislike when large printers have the filament runout sensors(FRS) placed at the top of the machines as that will leave a considerable amount of filament wasted if/when it breaks or runs out of the spool. So I recreated the carriage cover and placed a small mount for the sensor. This mod will require you to rerout the FRS cable from the back of the frame to free off the side of the machine if you are going to use the default cable. This will also call for the X axis board cover to allow for smooth cable movement. I "stiffened" the cable at the FRS with a twist tie as it was the simplest when testing the mounts and have just left it on. At this point I forget if the stock screw fit, I think so because I wanted to use as much stock hardware as possible, but currently use a M3x30 for it and the popular X axis ribbon cable clamp to fit. So you may need other bolts just in case.
