tailors measuring tape case

--- POST --- 25.05.2021 Designed up this tailors measuring tape case. To organise my drawer where this clothing measuring tape always is tangled. Made specifically for a 150cm length and 2cm wide tape measure. Comes in 2 parts: A and B. Parts click and fit - when putting the metal end of the tape measure in the slot of part A. Included skp file for further edit. I used PLA and 200 degrees. My settings need tweaking - jugde yourself by my photos :) --- UPDATE --- 28.12.2021 Made a better version of 'Part A' called 'V3 Extended' so that the tape measure doesnt get stuck. - Made the shaft 1 mm longer of the V3 Normal version (not recommended) --- UPDATE --- 14.09.2021 Made a better version of 'Part A' called 'V3 Normal' so that the tape measure doesnt get stuck. - Made a extra and bigger slot in the shaft (so that bigger ends of tapemeasures fit/accommodating lines with larger metal end) not neccesary needed for the tape measure.(recommended for the normal tape measure) --- UPDATE --- 27.05.2021 Made a better version of 'Part A' called 'V2 Extended' so that the tape measure doesnt get stuck. - Removed the notch - Made the bottom flat - Extended the shaft Part versions: Part A V1 = Original part -> very tight fit for some tape measures, has an bottom with a notch which can damage the tape measure - not recommended Part A V2 Extended = Extended shaft for easy fitting - not recommended Part A V3 Extended = Extended shaft + extra split in shaft for easy fitting - not neccesary needed for the 'normal' tape measure- not recommended Part A V3 Normal = Normal length shaft extra split in shaft for easy fitting - recommended for printing Printing: - Print both parts - The metal end of the tape slides into a slot on part A and part B secures it in place, no need for fastening - Snap the lid on - No supports needed Putting the metal in the slot allowes it to click shut. Running the tape through the slot with the metal hanging out gives a sloppy fit. When found some errors, pls adress them to me.
