Protopasta Spool Holder
Description
Protopasta filament is amazing artisan filament. Great colors, material, made in the USA by a small group in Washington and a bunch of great people. I am using their filament for my internet controlled LEGO (c) race car project for Oracle's Developer Relations team. You'll be able to follow it here if you want: http://developer.oracle.com?source=:ex:tb:::::&SC=:ex:tb:::::&pcode=WWMK210625P00074 Protopasta spool holders are cardboard which is the best thing that has happened to 3D printing since the 3D printer in my opinion because it's 100% recyclable! However the spool of Protopasta filament does not fit on my spool holder, soflippity jippity, I designed this Protopasta spool holder. I have en enclosure made with Series 15 80/20 so the holes on this are designed for two 5/16 bolts and nuts to slide right into the slot. This is a fairly unique setup so I have provided all files needed to modify it in any CAD program of your choice. I used Fusion 360 so those files are provided as well as the STEP file. Enjoy!
