Glass Bed Z-Axis Spacer for CTC & Flashforge Printers

Description

This Shim Is Designed To Snugly Clamp Onto The Board Behind The Z-Axis And Trigger The Z-Axis 2.2Mm Earlier Than Normally Would Occur. This Is To Be Used With The Small 3/32" Replacement Glass Pieces Available At Home Depot. Simply Cut The Glass To Size (6" By 9"), Add The Z-Spacer, And Clamp To Your Heated Bed. Be Sure To Lower Your Print Bed 5 Or 6 Turns To Prevent The Nozzle From Crashing, And Then Level The Surface Again. While It Is Not Borosilicate Glass, The Relatively Slow Heating Process With Relatively Uniform Heating Should Typically Not Cause The Glass To Crack. The Flat Surface Of The Glass Should Provide A Much Better Uniformly Flat Surface Than The Stock Print Bed, Many Of Which Come Slightly Warped.
