The Easy Shroud for Ender 3 and V2
Description
DESIGN INTENT: I Designed this Attachment after I became tired of fiddling with the bolts on other fan duct designs. I wanted It to be: Easily removable Easy to Install Use stock Parts where Possible Fairly easy to print Customizable Good looking Simple As such, It is CLIP ON and Light and can be removed and mounted with a squeeze of the finger. Feel free to design your own parts fan nozzle. I uploaded a STEP file of everything, so please go wild. BASIC INFORMATION: I have printed all of my prototypes in PLA and have rectified heat deformation. (Any deformation that did occur was minor enough not to worry about when printing PLA) I have exported all the models in the intended printing orientation. Included an M2 Blot spacer for the long M2 bolts Fan Grid Does affect noise levels I Have Made two OPTIONS for the EasyDuctHousing. So you can choose whether you want a fan grid or not EasyGrid and fan spacer can be scaled in the slicer per your requirement ENDER 3 INSTRUCTIONS: Models Required: EasyDuctHousing_E3 or EasyDuctHousing_E3 - NO FAN GRID EasyPlinth_E3 EasyClip EasyGrid EasyNozzle EasySpring M2-BoltSpacer You will need no Parts Besides the parts that come on the machine Use the two short M2 Bolts that hold the Nozzle Fan to secure the Clip to the Housing duct Use the other two M2 bolts in conjunction with two M2 Bolt spacers to secure the Nozzle fan ENDER 3 V2 INSTRUCTIONS: Models Required EasyDuctHousing_E3_V2 or EasyDuctHousing_E3_V2 - NO FAN GRID EasyPlinth_E3_V2 EasyClip EasyGrid EasyNozzle EasySpring You will need: X1 M3 Nut - For mounting the Plinth X2 M2 Bolts - Because the V2 only comes with two (or just push the nozzle fan in place and forget about it, that's what I did) The rest is the same as the ender 3 Please Post a make of this if you do happen to make It. Id love to see them Also, I would appreciate feedback, positive or negative. Thank you
