8 Port Mechanical Siren V3
Description
An 8 port mechanical air raid/tornado siren. Should be printed with 20 percent infill or more. Motor should come with its own nuts. Use these to secure the print to the motor. The shaft nut is used to transfer torque to the rotor, so please only spin it counterclockwise or else the nut will screw off the shaft, carrying the rotor with it. Supports are needed for the stator. THE ROTOR HAS TO BE PRINTED WITH THE CUSTOM SUPPORT OBJECT INCLUDED. IF YOU USE THE SUPPORTS GENERATED BY THE SLICER, YOU WONT BE ABLE TO REMOVE THE SUPPORTS. I recommend the 24v version because to get the motor up to speed, you have to feed it about 16.8 Volts. Printed with a 0.6mm Nozzle at 80mm/s. Takes around 14 hours for both parts. Some sanding/filing might be required, especially around the shaft mount area.
