Windscreen for Jet ski (SeaDoo GTX)
Description
For riding your SeaDoo jet ski (model in pictures GTX Limited 2019 and forward) in cold weather I designed foldable windscreen. Screen is made of clear 5 x 500 x 500 mm plastic acrylic glass sheet. Main design elements are hinges and hooks to hold screen in place. Hinges are meant for not bending, but pressure so adjust your screen angle and rope positions so, that resulting force from rope and wind goes through the hinges. So you can remove the screen without any marks on your jet ski. When folded down, you can use original cover for jet, if windscreen is not too big. Tested for 2 seasons. Works great. Parts: Hinge_Jet_side_L+R.stl - hinge lower part, left and right Hinge_Windscr_side_2pc.stl - hinge upper part, 2 pc needed Windscr_el_band_stopper_L+R.stl - hooks for elastic band to keep windscreen in upper position, left and right Windscr_rope_holder_2pc.stl - windscreen rope holder for correct angle in front for the body panel fixing screws Slider_1pc.stl - as hinged windscreen moves to front when Jet hatch is opened, this is the slider for triangular groove in front Support_2pc.stl - when folded windscreen may start to wobble at high speed, these are supports for avoiding the wobble, 2pc needed. I printed mine from PET-G. Forces are reasonable for product so keep your wall thickness at least 2-3 mm each side and grid filling about 10% Windscreen is made from plastic acrylic sheet 5 x 500 x 500 mm, and angled according to jet ski shape when folded down, allowing original cover to be used. Additionally you need M5x12 bolts and M5 nuts 2pc, Clevis pin 6x30 mm and some ring pins. All can be found and ordered from www.dutyhook.eu store.
