PL239 female centre spider
Description
My old Welz swr Bridge SP-45M is good for 140 to 470 Mhz, The PL socket at the back has no insulation between the centre socket and the outer shell, the reason is to improve the RF performance at 450 Mhz, however through time the socket can become loose as the socket losses it springiness and will only loosely hold the pl259 centre pin . This simple centre spider will support this centre pin connection and should fit any other PL239 that requires it with little modification. The RF properties appear to be ok at 70cms so far but ..no guarantees
