Custom Orbiter - Dragon/Rapido EVA front face and top place
Description
This mod provides a more rigid mount between the Orbiter extruder and either a Dragon or Rapido hot end, which will provide more consistent extrusion...and better quality prints. This should be more noticeable at higher extrusion/print speeds. EVA 2.3 and 2.4 compatible. Includes mounting holes for ADXL345 to Orbiter mounting shelf. Use 2.5mm x 12 mm cap screws screwed directly in to plastic to mount the ADXL345. It is designed to use 3 mm brass inserts to make assembling and servicing faster. I have also included an optional revised top plate that provides some support for the extruder motor,. The mode includes a revised V6 lower mount for the Dragon hot end. The V6 heatsink support is not used with the Rapido hot end. This design has been developed from Pawel Kucmus's EVA eco system. https://main.eva-3d.page/
