Cheap webcam mount for Voron2.4

Cheap webcam mount for Voron2.4

Description

A mount for a cheap USB webcam (see picture) that sits outside of a transparent enclosure. In my case it's for a Voron2.4 and does the Job as a decent monitoring cam without having to worry about routing USB cables inside your chamber. Not the best of POV, but easy to tell when things go wrong. __BOM__ 1 M2 x 12? Screw I don't remember the length I used) needs to be a bit longer than the stock one. Preferably self-tapping, but It worked pretty well with a standard screw 2 M3 Tnuts (or hammer nuts or whatever) 2 M3x8 Use these to attach cam to your extrusion. __Instructions__ 1. Remove the ball assembly from the stock mount. The M2 screw is hidden under the felt sticker - but it peels off pretty easy. You should pop the camera off the ball so that you can assemble the parts easier. 2. Insert the screw into the printed base at a 45degree (the screw head sits underneath the base). 3. Thread the printed nub through the screw thats now sticking out at an angle. The square part of the nub sits on top to receive the square part of the original ball assembly. 4. Thread the bottom of the ball assembly into place so that the square parts sits firmly in the nub. Tighten down the M2 screw so its all nice and tight. 5. Attach the base to your extrusion (I put mine in the back-center) with tnuts (M3 - and m3x8 screws) and attach the camera. You can then swivel the cam so it faces straight down. Make sure to print the base, flat side down. Happy Printing.
