RG-213/LMR400/RG-59/RG-58 Gromet
Description
Update: V5/6/7 files contain alignment wings -- It was VERY hard to get the nut to 'take' evenly, if one side catches but the other doesn't, it pulls apart. It is VERY frustrating when working in cramped spaces in a junction box! With alignment wings, one can either thread some wire through the holes OR break out the sides to make sideways U channels, and wrap with wire/string until thread catches then remove. Dulled sewing pins work too, and you can remove them as soon as the nut catches. RG-213/LMR-400 version ID 10.6mm, will fit through a 18.2mm hole RG-59 version ID 6.15mm, will fit through a 16.5mm hole RG-58 version ID 5mm, will fit through a 12.5mm hole Main: I mirrored the threads so they are right-handed. I also removed ID restriction so the seal is effectively the entire length, removing the need for the top nut. This is important, point loads on coax will result in warpage over time, and impedance changes causing unwanted reflections. BTW - Hole must be 3/4" to pass PL-259 connector, but 20mm to pass 'N' connectors!
