Luceplan Titania R7s supports
Description
Luceplan Titania is a very nice looking lamp, but it was designed to hold an up to 250W halogen E27 bulb which is now forbidden in my country and not ecological. I tried to use LED Corn E27 bulb with it, but the light what not good enough and the bottom part of the corn bulb creates shadows. So I found that Kai Morich transforms it to use R7S bulb that gives better result. https://www.reichelt.de/magazin/maker-hub/umbau-der-luceplan-titania-leuchte-auf-led/ http://www.kai-morich.de/diy/titania-led/ He makes the adapters out of aluminum. As the hole of the R7S support is quite odd, I decide to make them with my 3D printer. The B adapter goes where the cover cannot be removed. It is tricky to insert, you have to insert the top before the bottom. It is why the notch is deeper than the A adapter. You can use the power cable by dismantling the original E27 socket. Unleash the black screw (blue arrow) and push aside the 2 plastic parts (red arrows). Push the metal strip string (green arrows) to release the cable. You can now join them with the cables from the r7s socket by a electrical sugar cube. Don't forget to put with some nuts or counter-weight in the A side to balance the lamp.
